Early testimony – Most if not all NT docs written prior to 70 AD
Eyewitness testimony – 140 details (Acts, John) which could only be known by eyewitnesses
Embarrassing testimony – Jesus calls Peter Satan, Peter denies X 3x, women were the brave ones and first witnesses, they wouldn’t have shown themselves as doubting after the resurrection
Excruciating testimony – witnesses when to excruciatating, brutal deaths when they could have saved themselves by denying the resurrection
Expected testimony – OT prophecy of messiah in 1st Century, eg Is 53
Extrabiblical testimony – 10 ancient non-Xn sources within 150 years of Jesus’ life (brief references to Jesus and early Xnty) you get a story line congruent w/NT
