Punctuation and Capitalization Are Aspects of Biblical Translation

The original texts of the New Testament manuscripts did not contain punctuation or upper/lower case distinctions.  Therefore, translators are supplying those aspects of what you read based on their understanding of the text and their understanding of English.

Translation is the last step of transmitting what the apostles wrote to today’s readers.  Remember the paradigm of text, transmission, and translation.
